Re: Are Kayaks worth it?
I would highly recommend a Yak. I currently have a WS Tarpon 140 for fishing in the bay (which I picked up for $1100 brand new with 2xRAM rod holders). Very stable, easy to paddle all day and has a lot of innovative storage solutions and fishing-focused features. It also has an incredibly comfy seat...

I use Classic Bluewater F18's and they have so far worked a treat. You can generally find them on sale for $5-$10 and they have wire through construction & a nice finish

Re: Show us your purchases!
I bought the sounder and ram mount from CH Smith but they couldn't help with the price.
The plastics were bought from Compleat Angler after a great session on tuesday. The pinkies kept destroying my plastics so needed to stock up for the next session (Y)

Re: gan craft squid jigs
I have a couple and they are great. The only gripe I have is that the barbs are large and spaced far apart, making it really easy for smaller squid to fall off. I think they would be far more effective if the top row of barbs were shorter and spaced closer together while the bottom barbs are the cur...

Tackle Bags and Boxes?!
G'day Guys, I currently have a standard size Rapala Sling Bag that I absolutely love. The only problem that i have with it is that on most outings, its just too big and heavy! When im going to a pier with my flick stick all i really need is a small selection of different jigheads, hardbodies, plasti...

Gan Craft?
G'Day Guys, I go down to sorrento regularly and fish the surrounding areas for squid both land and boat-based. I have plenty of success on 2.5 and 3.0 size yamashita jigs. I am thinking about getting a couple of Gan Craft jigs but before i do i have a few questions: 1. they only come in 3.5 size, ho...

Re: poor quality expensive Brand Name Squid Jigs!
I had the weight fall out of one of my $24 jigs on its second cast. The really annoying thing was that I got a squid on the first cast, then the jig was ruined so had to leave
