simple answer guys....ask fisheries..... i did and they said its fine to use one whilst floundering.....i kept the reply as proof, just dont be wankers and go spearing everything thats edible

Scallops

Had a good day on the 19th diving with 2 mates off rye.... collected 300 scallops easily, had a look off St Leonards and Werribee too and scallops were in most areas but not as many....good to see them in good numbers

fisheries need to change it to 2 rods each or make it so they can only be 1 ft apart these arseholes take a family each with 4 rods and deliberately space their rods so that they take up a huge area!!!
