Re: Merimbula Fishing Advice

I just arrived in Merimbula today had a quick flick from the beach out from the boardwalk at low tide casting into the channel landed a few different species in 30 minutes of work.
Nothing massive but good fun.

Probably not to be honest it would have to be glass like conditions, but even then i don't really want to be crossing the bar.
It's more of a lake and river tinny.

Boot waders with thick woolen socks on over jeans and thermals if required. Usually does the job for me just gotta be careful not to get hit by a wave.

Re: Worms & Trout

Need a bit more information on the river, depends on the flow and the depth you could remove the split shot sinker and go unweighted. Have a look around see if you can find any other insects that could be used as bait. Find the most likely sections of water i.e at the end of fast moving water where ...

Cuttlefish Bone Bag/Possession Limit

The bag/possession limit for Cuttlefish is 10.
Does this apply to Cuttlefish bones taken from the beach?
I have birds that love them, but i don't want to get myself in trouble for taking too many at a time.
Cheers
