As Seb and Kimtown have already said... you'll probably be better to target the Flathead or Bream in the lake system, or the salmon on the surf-side. Squid don't seem to be a LE thing.... once upon a time prawns were the catch of choice in LE. IF you are there for the week and would like to get mob...

My local ramp at portarlington has always been free. Not a fan of Altona to many aggressive fishermen there I live locally and been using it for 30 years and nevet had an issue but not to say it doesn't happen Ive seen agro at black rock, queenscliff and neeport which i think is the worst,i used it...
