Was down there today just before dark flicking a hardbody lure just under the bridge at the entrance and managed to get on too 2 little salmon, as I brought them to lift them out of the water they both flicked off right at my feet.. That was my shattering moment even had a boat stop to watch and see...

Yeah might have to change them.. can't remember where I got that lure tbh and yeah think I might head there again either tomorrow or the weekend was great feeling them hook up only shattering when I dropped both of them right at my feet :/

Hey guys wanna head out for a fish tonight either patto for bream of maybe even head to mornington for some squid tides in around 7.30 but is it okay to fish for squid even in low tide or what places are good to fish low tide for any species just wanna get out really and have a fish..

i was just reading about squid being caught of brighton pier.. has anyone tired recently would it be worth giving a go tonight.. dont really have much knowledge with squid

Great thanks alot.. will deff give it ago next time i head down there and hopefully hook my first bream on the cranka! recently just bought a little 6ft rod with a 1000 sized reel and feeling a bream on the end of that would be awesome!
