using bread might confuse Fish-cador..lol.. after the fish alarm goes off, they may jump up and look for the morning toast
i've used the bells many times.. and glow sticks taped to the rod tip... both very handy at night in particular.

unless laws have changed over the years.. and may have since my main fishing days.. i understand you can have 4 rods with 2 hooks per line in salt.. 2 rods and one hook fresh(maybe two hooks i'm not sure on fresh) but as they are baitfish.. it may be legal to lower down a ring net with your berley i...

the run out tide is better at san remo pier.. cos on the incoming tide.. if sinker isnt heavy enough, your line just gets dragged around into the shallows on an angle running part behind the pier.. the south end of the pier is a bit deeper(run out end) and ive had better luck not fishing the pier.. ...

the more i hear of this.. the more i think i will do it.. price of bait can get high... and on days when finances are'nt great, to go catch a few carp, which are so prevalent in creeks and rivers.. and fillet them up, even pre-cut them into strip bait, and give a trickle of tuna oil and freeze... ca...

i think, the guidelines you set out, are good... and if posts dont meet those guidelines.. then that post should be deleted.. and corrected. possibly delete old posts after a month too?? so the Trading Post is always with current things. and frivolous junk messages should go too(meaning idle comment...
