Hey mate, Totally agree with you Bout the Barwon being hit and miss. The Barwon is my new favorite spot atm and being from Melbourne it takes me about an hour and a half to get there, so going home with donuts is heartbreaking :/. I think the secret to the Barwon is always fishing the change of tide...

Great report, you know I've tried soft plastics and hard bodies in the same location you boys were at but have never managed to hook a bream, was just about to give up on artificial but your post has me inspired again. What was your exact setup? I usually have a 6lb mainline connected to a 4lb fluor...

Heaps of sea lice mate, I gave it a go few weeks back, when I reeled in my half pilchard it was full of em. For some reason sea lice gross me out lol, probably because of their name, if they were named mini crustaceans or something I wouldn't be so scared. Funny random fact, in the USA sea lice grow...
