super slow day down at docklands today. I think after all the schools of salmon yesterday ate all the food, the other fish have moved out to warmies or in port Phillip bay. Yes, it was a fun day fishing and we also feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful city to have lakes, river and saltwater so close to us.

asked my 10 yr old son anything in particular he would like to do this school holiday, the answer was catch a fresh water fish( as we never caught one before) i thought our best bet would be sunrise at albert park lake so we arrived around 7am today, OMG so many birds. they were all following us and...

i was there in the afternoon with my son at north wharf and only my son caught a salmon but yeah....definately there are groups around as when i was healping out my son my rob bend too but i lost it

going there today simply means you have a fishing addiction just like many of us do. :cheers: sorry to hear about your phone, maybe also consider a lifejacket ( pfd-basic ones bcf sells them around $50 when on special) if you are fishing on rainy days often as it can be slippery sometimes. Good job ...

Good job, must be pretty cold there today hey? Due to work haven't been there for a couple of weeks now, heading there next week hopefully with my son. The weather doesnt look very promising though
