I'm still hunting my first AP yella, what about you? cheers Caught yellowbelly there a while ago. South east end :tu: spinner bait black...

Re: Warburton Trout?

If you're new to lure trout fishing, start with spinner lure such as Mepps. Cast upstream 45 degree angle across and straight away wind after the lure hits the water.

Re: Sunday Advice

Usually salmon is in colder months. Mornington has more variety. I'd go to Mornington.

Great evening there Seb, nothing like a quickie and a threesome at that. Three buddies flicking out lures and SPs enjoying a nice warm afternoon with a great city skyline across the lake as the view. Well done on the EP too :tu: Cheers, Bugatti Yup, three guys swinging their rod at a public park. E...

It was my mate, Chris the 'happyfriggincamper' and I fishing and we were using three diff outfit and three diff lure to maximize the possibility of catchi...

Re: Port welshpool or lakes entrance January?

I usually fish lakes entrance in winter for aussie salmon and tailor on the beach. Not sure what's biting in January. Probably the usual, pinkie, flathead, bream. Any water you can access in the lake system should have some fish. Ask local tackle shop there of what's biting.
