Re: Pier Fishing Rod Question

You could always tie them to a rail or something with a bit of cord. Dont forget to use circle hooks with a tight drag on your unattended rods...the fish will hook themselves.

Re: 2023 Snapper Season

The code = anchor where the fish are . They turn same spots and time every year. Yep. I've learnt that there aren't fish everywhere and there's no point anchoring and hoping, your chances aren't good. The tricky part now is finding them, especially bigger ones. Since i've got no marks to "check aga...

Beautiful fish. Nice to leave room for upsizing later aswell. I'm not sure if it's coincidence but my fi...

Re: Melbourne Boat Show 2023

Thought it was better than last year (I went Friday and the weather was perfect). Lots of exhibitors were up for a chat....met all the Salt Guide crew, seriously fantastic group of guys wo love their boats and fishing.
Boat prices are ridiculous even for entry level stuff.

Melbourne Boat Show 2023

Anyone going to the Melbourne Boat Show this weekend?
Feels like it's getting smaller each year, but I'll be there with bells on!

Re: Howdy boys and girls

Welcome back!
Great time to buy a boat, dealers yards are full and they are struggling to move stock.

Re: 2023 Snapper Season

Anyone got some advice on where the PPB snapper might be lurking on the weekend? By the looks of the graph below, the north end is the warmest, but I'm not sure how all this rain/runoff is going to effect everything. I always had luck fishing Williamstown this time of the year, but last year was ter...
