on a charter recently and small circle hooks were excellent - tenderised squid for the bait.
3/4 shank baitholder hooks do the trick normally
size depends on how big they will be. start small and work your way up

Corinella - Western Port

Looking at a family fishing trip for a few days in December/January. Haven't fished there for 25yrs, so don't really remember anything about the place other than fish can be few and far between if you aren't in the right spot. Just don't know but they were in plague proportions, even threw the metals at them - good fun!

Not sure how harsh we should be but it was clearly a stupid thing to do and it highlights the dangers on the water.
If it makes one person think and slow down, then happy days!
