St Kilda pier and williamstown Beach or even Altona beach, I caught plenty nice kgw off these beaches in the last 3 months. Be sure to have the right set up and bait. My best bait has been squid strip's bought from the servo but they're happy to take pilchards too on occasions

Was at the pier last week, parked there just to see what everyones catching, big Russian man walked up to me and says I gotta buy a ticket or get a fine. I left, but did see people catching lots of silver whiting and some nice warhou trevally. The piers privately owned, wish I owned my own pier lol

I've encountered one of those land sharks. We call them the Karen fish, they feed on unsuspecting anglers and little kids fishing alone. Best time to catch them are early morning or late evenings when they go on the hunt. Favourite bait is a knuckle sandwich. (Edit) don't know how this ended on this...
