Re: Bastion Point

Had a mate stay at Gabo few weeks back, they wanted to come back but had to wait the 6 hours for high tide to get over it. The sand on the end is shocking, they probably wont dredge until it gets busier after winter so It could be like this for a while. At Christmas time when I go up every year they...

Have heard a lot of good things about the rangers though so far. Haven't been around a heck of a long time yet though. Just get a portable air c...

Re: offshore Lakes Entrance for Easter

I may be out there same time if not before re-tyred. 530 quintrex. Headed around that area and caught lots of pinkies early Friday. Threw them all back except 2. Could've just about bagged out. We also got smoked by something much bigger after it decided the anchor was in the preferred swimming rout...

Re: Trailer Modifications

Depends if you want to Launch and retrieve or just retrieve I only have an L & R boat latch because it was on the boat when I got it. But I'm glad it is, makes everything a bit easier. Having said that I never really fish solo, so the time it broke and I hadn't had time to fix it (spring wore out) I...

Re: Hi Fellas and after some boat advice.

Are these things easy to install? Is there a trick to getting them to work 100% of the time? (I see a lot of people at the ramp not being able to get it to engage properly) Once you use it a couple of times they work really well. When I first used it, I cocked it up. But now it works everytime, Min...
