Just spent the week end staying at Howqua. We worked around the area and livescoped at least half a dozen cod over a meter but couldn't get any of them to eat. The water was pretty dirty so it may have turned them off a bit but it was a great leaning trip with new technology and the firs ttime chasi...

had a combo found in the lake the other day, no ones claimed it so I have, great bit of gear, 2-4kg stick with a 2500 reel, put some 10lb braid on it and it'll now be a whiting rod for people that come out with me in the boat.

It's people like this that end up getting the public access to areas locked up and then they rant about being locked out. I'm sick to death of seeing the river left this way after all these city slickers go camping and leave the rubbish behind as if theres a garbo that'll come around and pick it up ...
