You adjust the drag by, dropping the reel into freespool and then adjusting the drag cam on the side of the reel. It must be in freespool otherwise this adjustment won't work as intended. Don't bother with a windon, 50lb mono, plaited to a double and connect to your snap. I'd go windon if you going...

You adjust the drag by, dropping the reel into freespool and then adjusting the drag cam on the side of the reel. It must be in freespool otherwise this adjustment won't work as intended. Don't bother with a windon, 50lb mono, plaited to a double and connect to your snap.

I used 130L each day. Single 140, all just depends on economy of the boat. I would bank on enough petrol to make it there and back and there again. E.g- 80km there, 80km back and spare 80km of fuel. (Also add in the petrol used when moving around etc).

Everyone is well within their rights to keep them as you say, I will keep my first when it comes along. Probably saw you out there on the weekend as well, 4 bites here for 1 hookup only to pull hooks.

Depth, yes. Fight times varied, look up IMAS research for your own viewing to make judgement. Plenty of information including the paths they took after release.

Zero survival rate as I understand. So they get filleted and their family and friends get a lot of fish for their freezer. They will not get over fished. The area is vast and the weather stops anyone getting out there more than a few days each season. Most boats will spend $400-600 on fuel for the ...
