launched around 5pm at portarlington and decided to fish the turn of the channel off Clifton springs. I had plenty of fresh bait my next door neighbour smashed the squid off queenscliff on Sunday and gave me half a dozen some of the ones he had were huge. Wedge squid

Launched around lunch, headed towards Kirk's point side of bay.
Me n neighbour bagged out on squid ,with some models around 30 cm hoods.
Decky was doing well with the 2.5 size jigs

its now getting in to silly season how many rods per person do you think landbased at a pier myself i think two is plenty for example brighton pier two people are allowed eight rods and space them out at aprox 10ft apart where they put there wood chocks in thats a fair bit of pier taken im all good...
