I'm heading to Mornington Pier tomorrow morning and was wondering if anyone knows where to buy a pack of silverfish for bait? I have called a few tackleshops today and no one has any. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Daniel

Yep it was 62cm.

Fair comments guys. I totally agree with you. We thought it was a mulloway at first and thats why we kept it. It wasnt until this morning that i found out that it wasnt a mulloway. I didnt take the photo for identification purposes, and yes it is a poor photo. We are fairly new to fishing salt water...

Yeh i have no idea. I have never ever seen one of these before. The butter fish has a small mouth. This one has a huge mouth exactly like a carp. Maybe they are evolving? Lol

My exact spot is only 5.1 meters (17 feet) but has a small drop off close by at 6.5 meters (21 feet). I found it odd that they are in such shallow water. My other good spot is only 10 meters.
