It really is time fisheries officers patrolled some of these stocked lakes Fisheries do check these lakes. Fished karma room this time last year and had a visit by a couple of fisheries. If it is just yourself going out I would look at a charter instead. For $200 you could get a couple of trips out or 1 trip for 2 people. Spoke with some of the senior guys doing the works on the weekend and the part of the pier that has been redone will be open within the next two weeks. HOWEVER there is at this stage no funding for the remaining part of the pier and as such it looks like the old section will be left as is and CLOSED...
