Re: Swimbait rods hit the half kg mark!

Just touching on that subject. I've recently been using an 80lb Assassin with 150g+ lures targeting kings. The rod is super light weight and i'm in pretty good shape but god damn this is exhausting. Does anyone else actually do spin specific conditioning and if so what kind?

If you want to save money long term, buy a decent reel now instead of later (the most versatile reel in my arsenal is a Saragosa 10000, I swap it around on different r...

Re: The bucket list

DougieK, there is a spot for you on my boat if you actually want the chance to catch a Kingy without tearing your hair out, rolling ankles and being swept off rocks.... I'll even throw you a kwell or 2 I don't know what a kwell is but let me know times and dates and i'll probably take you up on tha...

Re: The bucket list

Everything is a lot easier in NSW i think.. I understand you do like to push the limits, But why don't you try the Long pier. or go on a boat for once and see if you can land one? Next time i have a day and the weather is any good i'm going too. I dropped a couple at Sorrento about a month ago and ...
