I have hooked and landed quite a few of these of recent, largest being a bit under 1.5-2m big, guessing weight was around 40-50kg, 35m battle with a constant 7kg of drag on the fish the entire time

Tilsan make a range of freshwater lures that work to about 6m depth. They dive around 3.5-4m

Mate, I don't want to be a party pooper but it's hard enough catching them with bait, I reckon if you are going to start trolling for them you are gunna have alot of fishless days. Buy one of those bolt on plates that won't get in the way, then when you fish you can temp add holders etc to the boat

Pro Angler usually refers to a promotional fisherman, someone that is paid to promote a certain product. I don't think there are many if any in Australia that are professional fishers eg make a living off catch but not selling fish. Our comp scene is to small here
