Re: fishing knife
Any tackle shop has $2 knives. If you lose one big deal buy another. Well maybe not $2 but maybe $5 but you know what Im talking about. I like kitchen knives from garage sales and Salvos.

If the reel has enough line capacity, why not. Be a sport!

Re: Sea Anchor

Re: Sea Anchor
Podsta, I believe what your saying is on par with saying that, "Going for a walk is putting you at risk of being hit by a car so you shouldnt walk anywhere". A little over the top in my opinion. I dont know many people that dont use a sea anchor exactly the same way I use it without a worry in the w...

Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 Before that, him and a good looking sort in tight shorts were helicoptered to some place in NT to fish secluded barra holes. :thumb...

Re: Sea Anchor
I dont usually watch much tv but I just sat down for a few minutes with my boy when ET was on. Love the timing of life sometimes. There he was in a small 4-5 metre punt out in some exotic place fishing in pretty rough choppy water near a large bommie coming out of the ocean. And what do you know? he...

Re: Sea Anchor
Sea anchor causes drag. The sea anchor will turn the boat so the attachment point is pulled into the sea. Boats can and have been pulled under if the stern is pulled against the sea or if the sea anchor doesn't stay on the surface as the boat is unable to rise over a wave. We use the sea anchor on ...
