I was at Albert Park today around midday. A group caught some good sized perch and some trout. I didnt have much time + lost an sx40 so i left before i could catch anything. Will try again tomorrow morning.

Bumped into a group pulling up what seems to be 50+ cm perch. They were massive! plus a couple of trout.
I lost an sx40 and felt crap so i left. lol

Daiwa generation blacks. I have a wild weasel 2-6 kg. They come in 1.5 - 3 as well. I about 139 bucks. I I've been very impressed with it. I use a 6lb braid 10lb leader on mine with a 2500 daiwa and it casts my sx40s and soft plastics a mile. Check them out. I love the way they look. Lay buyed a Da...

Yea haven't heard anything coming out of the warmies lately. I was there 10 days ago only one other person there and he caught 2 undersized breams with prawn.

The last 3 occasions I've fished the nong was unsuccessful. I went to Edgewater estate, behind vic uni, and Smith st( between dynon and footscray rd). Didn't catch anything. Was fishing mainly hard bodies sx40s and atomic crank38s around snags and structures.
