Re: Forum Ranking System

Alright I have a new goal to go up in my ranking and get back fishing. Work has been stupid and I barely get on the forum these days. I think I am about due to sign up for being a VIP as well. Can someone please remind me how to do this.

Re: Black Flat - Warrandyte N.P.

That section of the Yarra holds a large variety of different fish, the prize being Cod and Yella's from time to time. Plenty of Carp, Eels and Macca's as well.

Re: Main drain Bunyip area

People have caught carp further up so there is likely to be Carp in the drain as well. There is definitely Eels all around those waters.

Re: Eel Recipes

My question is which Eels are good eating and would you eat them out of the Yarra if it was from Bulleen or further away from the city? I have caught many Eels but never cooked or eaten any of them.

Re: yabbies

I have always done alright catching yabbies. How important is the water quality if you are going to eat yabbies? There are a couple of suburban dams in parks that are absolutely chockers with yabbies but the water quality isn't great.

I know you have already had a heap of compliments but with pictures and commentary like that we won't need to buy fishing magazines. Absolute ripper. Thanks Champ.

Re: Chadstone

Depends on if you are fishing for sport or fishing to eat something? Also depends how far you are prepared to travel. There are heaps of locations within 30 minutes from Chadstone both freshwater and salt. What type of fishing are you after?
