My favourite month for Barwon Heads Fishing.

I have not been to Barwon heads now for the last couple of years because of Covid. But over the years I loved March for Elephant fish, Whiting and Mullaway.
I never hear or see anyone spear Flounder fishing at the Heads where they are prolific in the shallows Ocean Grove side.

Re: fishing Euroa and surrounds

I have not fished around Euroa simply because of all the restrictions and closed sections of the sevens creek. I would suggest find someone that knows the area and places you can fish.A few people seem to fish around Strathbogie behind the shop.I have not tried it there.

Re: rod and reel

Shop around I saw that combo for 99.00 Otto's tackle. The special price for above I think was even cheaper at Otto's.

Re: Surprised at how "dead" this forum is.

The forum is still ok but it does seem a bit quieter than the days of Bugatti, born to fish & p5. Same happened to MtFisho.com too Well, the bloke behind Mr Fisho did die, so that kind of put a dampener on things there. As for here, only takes a few richard heads to make it not worth venturing on a...

Re: Surprised at how "dead" this forum is.

Every time you go on there advs for different groups come up.If you look at a fishing site you get more fishing sites and you can find a site that if you specialised in float making you will fin...

I think its good that the dams are getting stocked as well. this year there's a new fishery opening in Shepperton. its for natives like cod and yellow belly etc..
will most likely fish there.
Sound's good. Not everyone can travel any distance to have a fish.

Re: Lake Nillhacootie.

True, it was a great Redfin fishery then and up-to about six years ago no Redfin now. Carp and Natives dominate the Lake now.
