Sounds like they must have put some rainbows in there within the last week or 2, ive been catching small browns there since they put some in at the end of may.

Went to rowville a couple of times within the last week with no results, didnt see any activity either. Plenty of people fishing though.

Nice mate I’m sure you will be happy with it Bought it off Ebay late sunday night, from a seller in sydney for $118.. Arrived today, it feels really good! Now have to get a real and some braid for it... looking at a Penn Battle II 5000. The same seller sells them quite cheap too with free fireline ...

havent been to rowville lakes this summer but usually around 4pm til dusk on a hot day (30c) there is quite alot of reddies, in the main lake and the front lake, But seem to have more following my SP's in rather than biting...

Might have to start going back there again, used to catch heaps with lures about 5 years ago. If your trying to catch trout i'd get in there quick because the stocked ones get cleaned up in a few weeks.
