Ground up trout pellets. Yep a bloke told me that a while ago and swears by it. Makes sense when they were reared to eat them, triggers them off. Ive had success using crushed up goldfish food flakes mixed with power bait too.

Thought it was a trout to start with, big head shakes, good runs, snagged me so I let the line go slack for a minute and it came of it. Thankfully! 1.7 kg and 43cm. Ok just saw it...
