Did you send pictures of the damage or was it just a verbal dialogue ? If they saw the damage I doubt they would have said it's wear and tear, personally if it was me I would lodge a complaint with fair trading and send pictures for proof, once they get contacted by fair trading you'll find their a...

Had a oopsie with the boat.

Had a wake wave come through from another boat and had to turn the boat sharply and hit back on the pontoon trying to stay away from other boats and then when tieing to have a look at damage rubbed up against something sharp. Anyone near bermagui and want to some fishing there will be a few days or so over The next week or so on my boat

My wife is pregnant and now gets sea sick.
Probably fish from 6am -10am

I took 1 wheel off to do the bearing as trailer hasn’t moved for 4 months and found some more rust.
Hit with a hammer.
Made a decent whole.

I’m don’t think worth fixing.
Time for a new trailer

Same trailer.
I had 1 mt by 40mm by 10 mm plates plates welded over the rust last time while I was in Brisbane but thing are just getting worse now lol
