High tide is around 1pm taking the kids so that's the best time for us,where's the deepest on the pier

I fished warneet on saturday low tide for them no luck using 4/0 on a running sinker two rods nothing but weeeds,did see a few whiting around the pier also had burley out whiting pellets with pilchard oil not a bite but heaps off weed
