... your style wild populations that are much more viable to target. I'm no expert in filming myself fishing. Yes you're right, it can be done. True, karkarook, quarry, vic lake, etc probably better options for stocked cod.

Karkarook park in moorabbin has been stocked with 50 cod though, and while I've only seen three people catch them from karkarook they're confirmed to ...

... some smaller, less obvious lakes if you want to get onto them. I've never had much luck at some of the bigger, well-known lakes like Lilydale and Karkarook (haven't fished Yarrambat myself but am well aware of it). Some lakes seem to get more publicity than others.

seen one person get a cod out of there, shredded up fins don't think they will last very long in there, nice trout though! I saw a photo on compleat anglers fishing report, must be the same fish.
