Re: Dartmouth
Oh I didn't know you were a fellow deer hunter...good to see you taking advantage of all that Dartmouth has to offer. Guessing the carry out wasn't too far if you've taken a whole sambar! It actually was a fair trip out....halfway through i was thinking pretty silly move when it was raining ice. I ...

Re: Landbased flinders area.
I don't know why they keep the Port Jacksons, maybe they let them go when they are finished fishing, or maybe they eat them, I reckon you would have to be desperate. Cheers. Ango. The Port Jacksons were thrown back at the end of the video, but that was crap handling of fish that were to be released.
Re: Sad day

Howver upon being rear ended once I was questioned by the other party's insurer what my speed was X me...

Re: Cardinia Creek
A colleague and I were doing a survey down that way about a month ago. He reckons he saw some trout but I cannot confirm. I did see a school of sizeable carp in the Hallam Main Drain directly under the South Gippsland Freeway bridge tho.

Alpine Trout
Was working at Falls Creek last week. New business partner just happened to be a member of a lodge there, and being a skilled fly fisho had a pretty good knowledge of some of the local waters. First evening we headed over to Rocky Valley Storage. He flicked a few flies about for a hit or two but no ...

Re: Lake Tyers
I knew it would be low tide so wasn’t really expecting much but there were huge fish swimming in shoals right up to the beach. You could almost scoop them out with a net. Tried so hard to catch one but they wouldn’t bite. I’m not actually sure what they were. They didn’t look like flatheads, maybe ...

Re: Lake buffalo
Never fished the lake, but drove past it last weekend and did a spot of fishing in one of the tributaries. As usual, plenty of small trout about, but couldn't find the much bigger fish I had sighted in the early summer, so had to be content with harvesting 30kg+ of venison. Often see a car or two pa...
