Yes it was lip hooked. On a 1/6 oz TT jig 1/0 hook.

Wow that is genuinely amazing. Well done, a very very rare catch indeed, especially given the location. Can't read the tape measure but it looks like it would be between 8-10 kilo? I'd consider it a big Mullo for VIC for sure, but they have been caught up to 30kg+ in the bays here. Lol st.kilda pie...
