Mixed bag Barwon River
Went down to the River on high tide this afternoon. Plenty of bites but fish were hard to catch. Ended up getting a few including a nice plump Trevally that cooked up a treat.

Trevalley and surprisingly Australian salmon.
There is a small risk of sickness eating raw flathead so I'd avoid that.
As for whiting, it's $90 a kilo for it's beautiful eating quality when cooked. Not sure I'd bother eating it raw.

The wind dropped right out tonight so went down to Ozone street pier.
Ended up with two keeper kgws and a couple of keeper salmon trout

It's getting to that point. There's a lot of non fishing stuff here that I don't have an interest in. I join the fishing groups from the Geelong area which gives me access to more tailored and relevant info. The world moves so fast, sites like this are cumbersome and becoming redundant sadly and wit...
