Re: FC got something to smile about - 9 Oct 2011

westerly wind - not good in city piers. From mordi all the way to safety beach must be good tonight. anyway. I went back to the place I snagged my red Sunday evening. Not much waves as I expected. :-(. Caught 1 pinky, 33cm and 1 nuclear flathead (banjo) which I released. Will be back tomorrow. Stron...

Re: FC got something to smile about - 9 Oct 2011

I also spent $33 in BigW for terminal tackle and 10X mono leader. I got busted 3 times last night. :snap: :snap: I hope th...

Re: FC got something to smile about - 9 Oct 2011

Thanks guys. Today is a bit calm but I am itching to hit the pier again after work. The one that got away kept me awake last night. :lolf: Tomorrow will be a good day to fish. Another windy day. It's school day again and there will be less fishos. :super: Will hit the road soon and get bigger landin...

FC got something to smile about - 9 Oct 2011

The southerly was blowing 20 knots but I was not in the mood to wet a line. My wife pushed me out of the house so I had no choice but to march out of the door. Armed with fresh cala from Portsea and frozen gars from Mt Martha, off to the pier I went. No smiles around as there was no fish. Oh, what t...

Re: Digital tv signal

how far are you from the transmiters? I am located 15 km from the city and i am using a $2 rabbit antenna from Reject shop, tucked behind the TV and I get good signal. I also have foxtel so I rarely watch free to air programs.

nice fish Ahn Drift.

:whoh: Altona to Carrum is close to 30km straight line. Can you launch somewhere closer to Carrum?

How many anglers were on the boat and how many did you catch. I bet you got only the salmon. :lolf:
