How far do you want to travel I love it down the bellarine peninsula great whiting flathead and squid fishing and when I can't get out due to the weather plenty of wineries and good eating spots .

Yes to the right of the ramp I have picked up squid but not as much as near the marine park although nearly time for big squid at queenscliff

Joker91 do you know where dumb joe is. the marine park just as you go round the headland to point cook. Stay on the altona side and drift just outside the marine park you will pick up squid there.

Depends on the size of the lure I use singles like decoy jigging sometimes with 2 split rings to get the orientation correct, remember the rear hook is turned up. I dont have a set formula just what looks right

Missed the 2 schoolies in the first report I reckon schoolies go a little bit harder than gummies for the same size, larger schoolies are not plentiful as gummies in wpb catch heaps at 60 cm not many legal length.
