Re: what's the weirdest thing you have found or seen while fishing?
Kimtown asked about the Aurora - we have seen it while camped out at Eucumbene so am sure it could be seen from the Prom sometimes. That's cool as. Would be a great spectacle when out on the water fishing at night. Did you know it was due to happen when you witnessed it at Eucumbene, or just dumb l...

People still complaining about fishing shirts on this forum in 2022? Granted I don't buy the ones loaded with hundreds of mercury, lowrance, tackleworld, yamaha, mustad logo's with renders of swordfish jumping out of the water and hammerhead sharks all over it (to each their own) they're still great...

Re: Weather forecast / predictions
Let me look into my crystal ball I see clouds, rain sunshine and wind but we do live in Melbourne. The best I've found for long range forecast is to look at the monthly averages for wind direction and strength and then take your 10 day forecast and hope for the best Yeah, I've looked at the monthly a...

Weather forecast / predictions
Hey all, What's the furthest out from a date to get reasonable weather forecasts / predictions? Is 3 weeks too far out to get a somewhat reliable forecast? If not, where could I find this information? Windy and fishranger only seem to give 10 days of forecast info (that can dramatically change withi...

Re: Any other Jetski fishers?
I did for a while, I had a fishpro... Ended up selling it after a year because it got too lonely fishing by myself lol Always wanted to do a Welshpool > Tassie trip on the ski, fishing/camping/diving along the way. Had mates who were keen on it, so I went out and bought a fishpro expecting them to d...
