The reservoir is no longer used as a water supply and is now popular for fishing, canoeing and picnicking. It's a great spot for the family to enjoy a swim in the cool waters.

spent the morning fishing expedition pass reservoir, nice place , clear water , plenty of small redfin caught on soft plastics :water: - fished the back end away from the dam wall , need to invest in a kayak- few people turning up and having a swim ? didn't know you could swim in the reservoir :down:

went early to moorabool today for the first time - what a place - beautiful weather- plenty of activity - mostly small redfin - few browns - - walked around to the right hand side of the reservoir , plenty of trees/ snags in the water, had the old trusty waders on even though signage says " no wadin...
