Re: Cornacarpio's Eclectic Estuarine Escapades

Re: Why bleed your salmon?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Periodic fishing bans on stocked lakes???

Trout don't breed in lakes and won't last long in hot water. So for systems like the vast majority of the family fishing lakes stocking trout won't work. I think fisheries are hesitant to stock natives because they are more expensive to breed and will get absolutely smashed the day they are put in ...

Re: A very colourful Inverloch Beach

I caught this little guy on Sunday evening, mid tide to two hours before low water on pipi. :r The secret was to keep the bait moving and let them chase it, static just didn't cut it. I've met numerous guys who have blanked at that spot, including my neighbour, who has a kayak and therefore a big ad...

Re: Plenty river carp cull!!!

I've penned it in. Anyone got the inside track on tactics? Any ideas for disposal of the end product?

What's the terrain like? Google earth can be deceptive.

Re: Plenty river carp cull!!!

For those of us not familiar with the area would it be possible to post a Google earth shot? I've no idea where the pub is.
