Re: Adrian's Trout Fishing Kit & more...
Thanks Adrian - I'll keep it in mind when I have the money available to get another UL reel! Have you had any worrisome moments with the 3kg drag and sizable trout (especially fighting in fast waters) or have you found it to be enough to handle the most testing trout situations you face? No worries...

Re: Adrian's Trout Fishing Kit & more...
Nice write-up Adrian! Was curious on how you got to be mostly Okuma exclusive as it doesn't seem to be a prominent brand in Australia (from what I see across forums, social media, etc)? Am also interested to know how you would break down the key differences in the reels you mentioned there as far as...

Re: Back in lockdown again.
The flip flopping narrative and directive is unreal - a week or so ago AZ is being phased out and stopped for under 60s, now it's being advised as mandatory for health care workers. The govt is also looking to give indemnity to doctors dosing it out (don't forget most health care providers are refus...

Strike Pro Enticer Crabs work well. https://jurofishing.com/?product=strike-pro-enticer-crab Mind you I did design it. They are Neutral bouyant, Scent infused and you fish them the same as the Cranka. would size 2 hooks go well on the crabs ? Hi Mate, We do a range of Jigheads for the Crabs and the...

Re: Clifton Springs Fishing Structure Map
Really generous post and info there andrews - thanks for the detail and willingness to share. Is it mostly low light times you have success there since it's so shallow or can you soak baits/cast plastics there and have success all day? And did you fish there LB just high tide or did you find you cou...

Re: Karen Coin at Freddy's tackle
Selecting Karencoin is a real headscratcher given there are many cryptocoins already in use as a payment medium by businesses significantly larger than Freddy's. Lots of posts indicating not knowing anything about crypto - happily invested, have been 600% up on investment at best this year and curr...

Re: Reel Size recommendation - noobie
If you are after a really general use set up that will cover a lot of styles of basic bait fishing you are in the right range with a 7ft fast med action rod 2-5kg and 3500 or 4000 size reel. I'd go the 4000 with 12lb braid, as the bigger reel will give you more spool capacity and drag leverage if yo...
