You need about 20cm leader tied to your swivel on a running sinker rig. Your hook needs to be small and float when attached to powerbait nugget/egg. If your bait sinks then less chance of hook up. Good luck.

I don't fish the freshwater much, but you got a nice catch there + the location looks great.

I didnt see any signs although wasnt looking out for them, used to fish newlyn res a bit few years back that lake had the signs up for bga year round, never had a problem though, reckon most lakes are like that the signs are up even if the algae is mild and intermitent, Hammy y use a float with the...
