Thanks for the input, I'm heading down that way early tomorrow.
If I don't catch anything I reckon next time I'm taking a stun grenade with me  :2guns:

Hastings Pier
Has anyone fished the upgraded Hastings pier down by the Marina?
If so what is there to be caught and how deep is the water around there?
I was thinking of going early Saturday morning 4.30/5 am unless someone can recommend a better spot
Thanks.

Stony Point Blues
Anyone got some tips fishing off the end of Stony Point Pier? I must have lost a few hooks and sinkers fishing off the end of the pier. I reckon Parks Vic owes me big time for dredging rocks and seaweed all morning on the weekend. Bangg A few people caught a couple small leather jackets and what loo...

Re: Gummy tonight........hopefully!!
I'm heading to Western Port to try land based or pier fishing for the first time. I hear Stockyard sucks, where would you suggest is a good place to start and what to target? I've had some success off Mornington 3 weeks ago with a nice Juvenile Snapper, Sunday I was at Frankston (that was hopeless)...

Thanks for the info, I'm not into digging for worms but it's always good to get reminders.
