Thanks for update mate. I'll try the other side on Venus bay. At least enjoy the quiet surrounds and get some salmon on surf beach... And who knows fish may be sleeping on that side of the inlet

Also does anyone know if you can access the far tip beach area of Venus bay (side that faces inverloch). Looks deep and castable for lb in this area

Hi guys. I'm going to inverloch for a few nights during school holidays and have a fees Qs regarding fishing the area. Should be ok with the N to NW winds at any strength as long as it doesn't get into a westerly. Or lures are the other option. I'll be there again this weekend

Thanks for your thoughts. Managed to get there this arvo. Caught 2 in 2 hours using proper and pilchard. Size was 30 cm and 45cm. Wind was a light SW which was ok
