hi i lived in queensland for a while up there but just wanted to know where some good land based wishing is in vic have been here for 6 years but never had much landbased success. any advice would be great thanks

i've used a surf rod off stony point although it was common on the pier because you needed a decent cast to get into the channel where the gummies are but on that point i strongly agree and think that that also goes for lure/hook size. line weight and sinker size.

trout should be a bit of fun i have a small dam that would get to hot for trout in summer considering stocking at the start of the cold weather and fishing out when it gets warmer.

yeah especially if your using it to flick lures and not just soak bait

i looked at getting the catana aswell but just couldn't afford another rod especially when i have a lighter 10'6" rod already.
hopefuly will get to go for my first session this year soon

thanks andoki i will try this next time im down at a surf beach. hopefully i'll get one. what kind of retrieve do you suggest.

hi what would you guys recomend, i have only ever bait fished for salmon, although i do have a few hex lures.
