i work in the docklands and see people fishing opposite etihad stadium for bream as well as central pier......Plenty of people throwing micro vibes and blades around there as well to pick up the bream around the pylons....

might have to look at the surf reports next time to ensure that isn't an issue. Smaller waves / breaks...... I'm new to surf fishing so have only done it a couple of times in the last couple of months and haven't had a problem till last week. So assuming it gets worse in summer when the water is war...

I go to the complet angler in box hill, same as what Carl has said, being a regular they look after you price wise. If I'm travelling to the US on work then I'll grab soft plastics and some other gear there as they are dead cheap, you can get gulps for 3 bucks a packet.

Surfer vs Fisherman
Went down to Woolamai down at phillip island. Camped out at a nice gutter set up a rod with 2 poppers with pippies and had a second rod with a metal slug. Was there a good hour then had about 20 surfers surfing the waves around my gutter, couldn't believe it there is plenty of beach :wall: .......ca...
