Anyway I could put convert some scrubbies from Bob into a few nice fish ;)...

Nothing wrong with worms from a compost bin. Mostly they are tiger worms which redfin love but there can be many different types of worms in your compost depending on the location. If yours are 6' long they could well be scrubbies which just about every fish love.
