According to the FB group "East Gippsland Fishing Reports" and their photo's the Barra in Hazelwood are dying off.
Guess the Vic winter got to them after all.

I got one for a trip to Vanuatu happy I did as 8 hours popping, jigging, and plugging on a boat in the tropical sun would've meant no fishing the next day if I didn't wear it. Classic example of a few $$$holes ruining it for everybody.
Unfortunately people want to eat everything possible out of the water and don't give a fark about preserving the species. Worse than that, some idiots have cut these animals and thrown them back in the water getting the public's back up.
