It's still few weeks for us. First few days/weeks is usually still isn't ideal for rivers, often too cold, too high, or too fast. But we can only try. Good luck with this season, Adrian. Over the past five years KGW have appeared across Northern Tasmania and sizes are very nice fish up to 60 cms have been caught. Reckon those SA Tings are diff to VIC tings? I remember something about diff migration group. And the western tings all the way from south to nw of WA are diff tings, and they're crossed with bonefish or something. I think you will find they're all the same right across the coastline from WA to Vic...

Mine's quite plain & simple Sebb... First Saturday in August through to the last Sunday closest to the end of April every year: River trout.. (browns & rainbows) this season will be a late start due to the rivers running high & fast, most of which are in minor flood mode at this stage.. may have to...
