salmon don't have the small dark patches on them, the have small yellow dots, where as small samson fish have the dark markings.

That aint a juvenile salmon, looks like a juvenile samson fish to me.

first one is a juvenile snapper (pinkie) and the second one is a banjo shark. Looks like a good day out for your first time.

berley up and you can get some mullet, trevally, salmon and whiting, small kl hook on a paternoster with chicken, squid and small cubes of bluebait for bait. :thumbsup:
