Re: $100,000 question.
I am thinking reef runners are the new value for $$ boat. 6.4m, BMT package, semi hard top, 200hp for around 100k brand new. Not quite the ridability as a Haines/EC/Coota, but them old Bertram shaped hulls and still nice a soft, maybe better at rest too. Really good all round fishing platform witho...

Re: $100,000 question.
Anyone know the rough price of a Haines boat new? Just out of curiosity, something like a signature 525 or a 595/625 offshore.

Re: $100,000 question.
In order of desirability rebuilt Haines, Razor, Eden, Extreme, Stabi, Mclay, Yalta. Resale value in 15-20 years is pretty much the same order. The Yalta is the boat you buy to do most things decently, to a budget when really you want one of the others. The Mclay is the same on the tin side, it's th...

Re: $100,000 question.
I've been doing hard research as this is pretty much my budget for my next boat, came up with a few different options (everything decked out BMT with all the extra fishing options): -NICELY rebuilt HH 565L (probably would spend around 60k give or take, with a close to new-ish donk and all the desie...

New: Whitepointer Super Hornet with centre console with a Merc 150hp ProXS. Kinda like this one. Used: Bairnsdale build 565Edencraft for 50k, rip the 200hp HPDI Yam straight off and bolt a 225hp Merc ProXS for the 4.6L v8 goodness Heard some good things about the super hornet. Centre console for th...
