Re: Newbie to boating WP

What ramp are you launching at as that dictates where to go. Around the north arm berley up hard in around 10m of water off Quail bank or Tyabb bank. Bonus being squid in shallower water. Tide changes around the shipping channel (Usually bigger yakkas) or in the deep of the eastern channel alongsid...

Newbie to boating WP

Hey guys, bit of a newbie fishing westernport by boat instead of landbased. Just wondering where abouts there is to get some Fresh bait for gummies. Found a snapper spot but couldn’t land any decent gummy bait. Have a 5.4m 115hp and where abouts should I stay away from until I get the hours up.

Try a merc dealer?
Yea just couldn’t find anything on the websites. I’ll head down to one tomorrow and hopefully they’ve got some in stock.

Where to get a spare key

Hey everyone, just wondering where I could get a spare mercury 1A key from down the south east side of Victoria. Have one at the moment but for piece of mind looking at getting another key if possible, as I can only find them in the USA or UK at this point in time. Any help is appreciated.

Boat Weather cover

Hey everyone, just wondering what boat weather covers everyone’s found to be decent. Seen a few with bad reviews and some without reviews. Looking to fit a 5.4m half cabin boat. Cheers and tight lines again finally! :wt: :wt:
