The guys that tow caravans at work swear by them I dont think they will bend the chassis on my prado but a normal monocoque family wagon yes.

Anybody else use polyairbags when towing, I fitted a pair to the rear suspension of my prado and love them they keep the car 2" higher with the boat on the back, when not towing lower the air pressure to 5psi and they keep the nice soft ride and reduce body role.i fitted them myself easy job about 1...

During the day I normally just tie my own paternoster rigs blue bait pilchards, surf poppers snapper snatchers with bait, buy some calamari rings cut them so now there strips using 1/0 ganged hooks top hook deadly on salmon. At night I normally use running sinker rig 5/0 circle hook wire trace

Will you be fishing during the day or in the evening, I find burley in the surf a double edged sword it brings the crabs on as well as the fish

That rod will break eventually either glass or graphite. You did the right thing you wouldn't buy a new car with a scratch in it
